So. Why are you loosing weight?

There's one real big reason why I am trying to lose weight. It's kinda stupid to some people, but to me, it's my reason.

I can't fit in my kilt.

There. I said it. I'm trying to lose weight so that I can wear my kilt again. I've been a little distressed that I haven't been able to. With luck, that will all change due to this weight loss.

What's your reason?

  1. I want to be healthy to have my first child. I also am doing it to not be embarassed when I have to work travel and fit in a plane seat.

  2. For my boys. I want to be able to keep up with them, even as teenagers. Also, I want to be the fit mom, not the fat mom. I want people to look at me and think "Wow, she has __ (number) of kids!" Like when you look at Kari (or my mom, she had 9 kids, and probably wears the same size I wear. And she is in her fifties now. She was a size 2/4 until baby #6 and then only went up to like a 6)

  3. I want to be happy looking in the mirror. I want to be able to wear all the cute clothes and not feel like a fat mess.

Way to concentrate on something to keep you motivated. It may be simple reason but if it keeps you going then its great.

  4. Love it! KILT! Great admission! My reason for losing? To get my Mojo back! My happiness on the outside is just a facade. I want my happiness back!

  5. Ah... I am sorry you don't fit in your kilt! You will get there.
My motivation changed as I went along. My biggest emotional trigger was the realization that as much as I thought my weight didn't effect my ability to be an active mom, it absolutely did! I was determined to NOT let my big ass get in the way of being an amazing mom... and with 4 boys, I really wanted to be a MILF!
